Our latest survey on childhood global mobility received over 1,600 complete responses from Adult TCKs! Our  research report explores data on the educational environments TCKs spent their developmental years in.
In this workshop we’ll talk through data on the following topics with additional insight and analysis:
  • Non-parent adults living in the home
  • Fears related to events occurring in the community
  • Microaggressions, racism, and misogyny experienced by TCKs
In order to provide valuable data for as many communities as possible, one of our priorities for this particular survey was to get an especially diverse sample (considering ethnicities, sectors, schooling backgrounds, etc.), and therefore we were thrilled to have ATCKs from over 90 passport countries participate!

Director of Research and Education Services

Tanya is an Adult TCK from a corporate background and now has 20 years of hands-on experience supporting TCKs, globally mobile families, and caregivers in this sector. She is the author of Misunderstood: The Impact of Growing Up Overseas in the 21st Century and co-author of Thongs or Flip Flops? Australian kids overseas and what comes next. Tanya's key roles at TCK Training are providing services to international schools and leading our research work, along with presenting virtually and in-person around the world.
