Groundwork Certification
January 2027 Cohort
Groundwork is a certification course designed to equip caregivers with practical, research-informed tools to support Third Culture Kids in real-world settings. Through thoughtfully structured, bite-sized learning, participants move beyond theory and into meaningful, hands-on application.
This course includes:
-
8 weeks of training with weekly content created specifically for Groundwork
-
Two key certifications: Youth Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Intervention with Living Works Start
-
Weekly practicum assignments, guided discussions, and written reflections
Each week, students engage with 5–10 hours of content, including a 2-hour live discussion to process learning objectives and practicum experiences together. Two excused absences are allowed, provided all coursework and written reflections are completed.
Groundwork is where your understanding becomes action—and where your care becomes transformational.
