Family Check-in Training

April 2024

This 4-hour training teaches Caregivers how to effectively conduct regular check-ins with the families you serve. 

What the training includes: 
  • Organizational distribution of the PCEs Inventory
  • Recognizing when a TCK is in the "Red Zone"
  • Recognizing normal transition stress vs. when professional care needs to be brought in
  • Tracking the children's PCEs over time
  • Encouraging parent-child connectedness

This training is designed to be done live on zoom.
If you choose to view it asynchronously please know that there are discussion times that will not be included in the recording. We would recommend scheduling implementation discussion opportunities for your team. If you would like to schedule an implementation session with TCK Training, those can be privately scheduled for $100 an hour and are open to anyone in your company who has taken this training.

Jacquie Kubr

Director of Family Services
Jacquie has a background in Clinical Mental Health counseling with a specialization in Trauma Studies. She has partnered with families in their overall health and wellness for over fifteen years. A mother to five, Jacquie’s youngest two are international adoptees and are growing up as CCKs. She and her family live north of Nashville, TN.
